We are always looking for volunteers in these areas:

Accredited Representatives/Attorneys: Accredited representatives and attorneys are the backbone of what we do, providing legal counseling and representation services to IHSL clients. You do not have to be an attorney or have immigration law experience to consider, or even begin a journey moving toward, being a representative. If you are at all interested, we would love to talk to you and discuss the requirements and options!

Caseworkers: Caseworkers work with clients under the supervision of accredited representatives or attorneys, assisting with clerical tasks, such as conducting intake interviews, collecting data from clients, and entering the data into forms or applications. Serving as a caseworker is an excellent way to gain firsthand experience with our ministry and the immigration law process

Interpreters/translators: Interpreters and translators serve a crucial role in breaking down language barriers that would otherwise hinder our ability to reach different immigrant communities. If you are proficient in English and another language, please let us know! There is a particularly high need for interpreters and translators for Asian languages.

English Language Development Class leaders/volunteers: Teaching experience is not necessary.
